@nixCraft Worked on Windows 3.1 for a few months Back in the Day. Decided Unix was a better bet after repeated crashes and lost work. Installed my first Linux system from a pile of floppies in 1990 (yay Slackware!).

I have occasionally quit jobs over being forced to use inferior software. Now I'm retiring after a fruitful career. I hope this is still possible today, but I fear it's not.

@itsfoss Ran a print/scanner server off an old EMachines T6000 using Puppy Linux for a few years. The hardware eventually pooped out. Fun Times!

@nixCraft I just learned about a pytnon debug library called "icecream" ( https://github.com/gruns/icecream ) Haven't used it yet but will deffo try it on my text Python project.
