     @arstechnica Yes, it will make cars cheaper if you don't install all the emissions control stuff. It will take a little while to get them onto the market. They may use more fuel, maybe about the same.

     But the American public will be paying for it with more lung disease, more cancer and more heart disease. And the whole world will be paying for it by accelerating the climate crisis.

     Rapist and felon Donald #Trump won't be around to suffer the medium term damage.

     @arstechnica So we are back to taking away states' rights, now? Individual states cannot make decisions about these things as they play out within their own borders?

     It appears we aren't even trying to pretend it's about "state rights" anymore.
