   31 years ago, on December 10, 1993, the Doom game was released. I still remember how the graphics, sound, and gameplay blew me away. It was an incredible experience for me. 🥰 #gaming #doom

     @nixCraft I was on a team of 3 people doing contract work for a large company. We made the request for approval for 6 billed hours to explore Doom so we could “understand the technology”. The request was granted! Best work day ever.

     @nixCraft IT was and still is a good game, but I never understood why so many put this only in a pedestal. I started with wolfenstein 3D, and after doom, I continued with quake. Although each one has good points, for me, quake 1 was a big gap between the other two.

     I am currently doing quake with doom 1 mod, and it's so much better. Either way, can't wait until dark ages release

     @nixCraft Happy days of my childhood killing demons. One time I plugged in the headphones, and totally jumped out of the seat during a melee.
