Having good parties from time to time on the company's bill is also a good thing to have for teambuilding, much more effective than any dumb HR teambuilding game they can dream up with.

Money isn't everything, most employees know this too. If you think a job is literally only ever a thing about money and nothing more, I feel very sad for you.

Without getting actual feedback from the admins using this nonsensical description you're pretty much left in the dark though. I'd argue you're better off not federating with them if this is how they handle defederations.

You genuinely believe that only "cis-het white guys" are able to abuse power, which is downright retarded at best. Diversity in looks doesn't mean squat, all the groups you described are still just human beings, and they are all just as corruptible when given a large amount of power.

Don't give them the power to corrupt themselves with, support a Fediverse in the way it's meant to be: lots and lots of small servers where people can trust one another, rather than a handful of super instances where the users just get hurt by the power plays of dumb admins.

Its sad, but we all knew this would happen eventually. Its a proprietary platform, they couldn't care less about their users or how much damage they cause, they care only about the short-term profits when it comes down to it.i've never liked redditI have used it plenty when I was younger, mistakes were definitely made. But as time went on, all the fun was banned, "powermods" threw their tantrums, and honest discussion got downvoted. The site encourages group-think with its voting system, and strongly punishes honesty and curiosity. Its the exact opposite of how a healthy society should operate, in my opinion.
