    A thought occurred to me during my one of my walks.

    Lets say you have super speed. We know when a sound wave of a blast goes by from far away, it takes time for us to hear it.
    What if you time it so that you are at the same speed as the blast wave and you "run" with the pressure wave until it dissipates.

    Do you get to hear the blast all the way? I'm of the opinion that, no, you wouldn't, since the pressure in your ears will remain the same.

    This leads me to another question: What if you reach the pressure wave of the blast and you're not keeping up the same speed, you make it variable, go slow and then faster. Do you hear the blast every time you pass the wave & what about the volume of the blast, is it the same as when you hear it as if you heard it first in that spot, at every spot you pass through?

    What are your thoughts?
