You think that's bad try navigating the million different AX25 "compatible" stations in the pnw that are on a million different versions.

Like imagine connecting to a website that said "yeah I speak http" then it starts speaking some weird homebrew hybrid of that and ftp

Modern adhesives are really quite remarkable if you think about it. 200 years ago we only really had plant and animal sources. They were relatively weak and almost always water soluble.

Not a huge fan of their products actually. A roll of duct tape will last me over a year.

Titebond still makes good adhesives for wood products, JBWeld's "ClearWeld" 5 min 2 part epoxy is great for things like knife handles and long term repairs, and then LocTite for thread sealants. MarineTex is great for underwater applications or elsewhere you need a super hard cure. And then ProMarine makes great low viscosity two part epoxies for things like tabletops.

I find once you go below 25f the absolute max temp you can get it in the house is around 63f. That's even with the wife using the stove and stuff.

Basically in the dead of winter, only good for keeping things from freezing.

Coldest of months we use propane. Otherwise we spend more money in electricity because the heat pump is working too hard.

I'm more talking about working on older stuff.
Like pickup trucks, motorcycles, and old ham gear. Where else are you going to find a suitable preamp circuit diagram for a 444T?
