Why do journos talk about freedom of speech and freedom of the press as if these are opposite things?
AFAIK they're covered by the same ammendment.
It seems like a malevolent trick to undermine both.

A lot of things are attributed to genetics that I think shouldn't entirely be.
I was watching a video where somebody claimed "food drive" was inherently genetic.
Based on my own life experiences, I know (and have experienced) many lifestyle factors that raise or lower food drive.

Is it just easier to tell the public "it's genetic" instead of explaining to them that lifestyle factors (in and outside their control) are responsible for many of their problems?

While I agree with you, I worry there is a bit of "boy cried wolf" scenario going on.
After years of telling people not wanting X Y and Z forced on them is fascism, nobody takes them seriously now.
I am concerned that there may be things to be on guard for. Sadly now all criticism of Musk & Trump is seen as interchangeable with incoherent woke screeching.

I like listening to the older leftists who kept their minds sharp. They didn't fall for the 2020 insanity and have a good grasp of what the actual threats are. But hardly anyone listens to them these days because they got memory-holed by those seeking status and approval.
