@nixCraft Dos on a soviet computer called Poisk (Search if translated to English) - a red machine that stored data on cassettes and required memory cartridges to be inserted into the slots on the keyboard. We used those in the first three grades of school here in Ukraine. They looked really close to this:

@nixCraft Resident Evil Village. Just a bag of bolts. Complete rubbish. Bought it on sale now for a Mac just to test the gaming performance on it, but I just don’t like the atmosphere and the storyline and the graphics too tbh. Returned it for a refund.

@nixCraft oh man I can already see all those people failing to find a button sudoing apt everything with pride on a daily basis and building the needed software from source, first building all the necessary compilers and getting modules 🤣 oh come on 🤣 with all my love for the Linux - I’m not sure it’s definitely not for everyone

@arstechnica updated it on my Mac and indeed it feels way snappier. Especially after I disabled the animations - whatever that means cause I didn’t notice any difference from that standpoint 😆
Hope that now it will not stop responding ding to clicks every now and then like it did for years before
