@arstechnica updated it on my Mac and indeed it feels way snappier. Especially after I disabled the animations - whatever that means cause I didn’t notice any difference from that standpoint 😆
Hope that now it will not stop responding ding to clicks every now and then like it did for years before
@arstechnica how about being sensible and make it a native app, not one built on a web browser. Lordy lordy.
@arstechnica I installed the new version on my MacBook today. It’s so much better. TIP: You can uninstall your old teams first, then install the new Teams package for a cleaner install. It also removes the switch at the top.
@arstechnica Is this really going to be much faster? It’s still Chromium underneath. I guess there can be a bit more resource sharing though
