@skylar @Zettour @bot @lonestarr @LordMordred dicksword hate. sadly if you're a main platform streamer you're stuck with it because platform community features are either non-existent or constantly broken. youtube to this day can't send a reliable push notification and the culling algo still fucks up and silently unsubscribes from channels.

@skylar @jeffcliff @MisterLister City pairs are a thing too, people in Ohio traveling generally want to leave Ohio, the amount of demand to go from one city to another city in the midwest is a lot smaller than you would think.

@jeffcliff @skylar @MisterLister Why would anyone in louisville want to go to dayton? You could just move there, the cost of housing in dayton is probably the same or less than louisville. The midwest isnt like the new england corridor or california where people are forced out into distant bedroom towns with no amenities and have to commute hours into a power node due to taxation and density driven cost of living.

@PraxisOfEvil I'm just tired because I've asked hard questions lately with numerical sources and the response I've gotten from the right has been huge paragraphs, each of which can be distilled down to three responses, "Exponents are communist", "Trump is going to wave his wand and cast Line Goes Up magic", and "Trump golfs every day with <list of people that live in gated compounds with armed security>"

@PurpCat @eric @i @sally @sun @toiletpaper I have an old book somewhere from Oracle wherein the first chapter of the book is about the theory of computing, where a program is fundamentally a math function that solves a problem by taking an input and calculating a result. The second chapter was dedicated to understanding your input dataset and how to arrange it in a form that would be best suited to find desired solutions from the dataset.
It would be really cool if we could get back to that, instead of being concerned with shit that doesn't matter like if someone voted for ronald regan, or thinks sex parties are pretty foul.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @veff The problem of alt-media is the same as MSM - every void in reporting gets packed with bias supporting fluff. In some ways its worse as most people are coded to expect TV lies but are 100% all in on some blurry screenshot from telegram.
