Christian Zionists were the originals, which started among Calvanists etc in the 16th century in an effort to bring about the end times and the rapture by engineering a takeover of the fictional Jewish homeland, ultimately culminating in converting Jews to Christinanity. Jews didn't latch onto the idea until 3 centuries later, notwitthstanding that last part.
> God swore to send strong delusion upon nations that reject him.
The fact that it says so in that fuckwit pseudohistorical fantasy novel is hardly evidence of anything, nor are the voices in your head. That entire body of literature is mostly bastardised misunderstood plagiarism from Pagan philosophies and myths. Abrahamic superstitions are the equivalent of a Star Trek Pakled mockery of real religion.
Meanwhile, in the real world away from bastardised Jewish fairy tale land...
Hell is an Old English / Anglo-Saxon Pagan term meaning the grave (same as Sheol). It refers to an ancestral burial mound, which was the funeral custom prior to popularisation of cremation.
You can't even insult or threaten people without using bastardised terminology from Pagan religions. Even the word God, is a Pagan term for a Pagan concept of deity that existed long before your Jewish zombie worship showed up on the scene.
> Go worship your fallen angel posing as a God. He's got big plans for you.
Lol. Still reciting the Jewish fairy tales thinking that's even remotely relevant to my situation. But m'kay bud ... if you say so ... you're totally not Jew mind fucked. *head pat*
That's enough explanation to suffice. But I can refer you back to your own fantasy novel (Matthew 7:6). That lesson perhaps better than any other the wiser among Pagans have learned the hard way through dealing with the likes of you.
> "Free the Jewish people from the supremacist cult leaders."
How? They're one and the same thing. God's chosen people, etc, with their genocidal ethnostate.
> ...Salvation through Christ is free.
Just like every other figment of the imagination. Meanwhile though, 10's of millions of Christian Zionists are currently hell bent on extorting taxes from the 'Murican people to send to the aforementioned genocidal ethnostate... I wouldn't exactly call that "free", neither in terms of money, nor in terms of liberty.
Genocidal mass delusions like both of the above are actually quite expensive. The free lobotomy is just a loss leader...
*nods* I get it. Mostly I'm just griping out loud because I'm not particularly a fan of callback hell, especially when needing to pass around more than a few variables that share scope at various levels of iteration. At least it has function overloading and guard statements, but right now my brain is breaking and I think it's time to put my feet up and do something else for a while.
Much appreciated! I might take you up on that another time. For now I'm just gonna give my brain a rest and come back to it later. I'm just implementing an AKS primality test for a programming exercise (to learn), which isn't even all that complicated. My brain's just not cooperating at the moment and I felt like complaining into the ether for sake of catharsis. lol!
So, I'm open to critique on this if either of you (or any other Elixers) feel up for it. This is part of the algorithm I mentioned for determining AKS primality which calculates coefficients based on Pascal's triangle. Below is the Elixir code followed by equivalent JavaScript for comparison. The Elixir seems to do what I wanted, but by Gods is it ever ugly and convoluted. FYI, I'm using a map instead of a list in Elixir because it's easier to access map values with their numeric key than list elements by their index.
Primality tests aren't exactly my forte either, nor is math in general, but it's an exercise for an Elixir course I'm taking so gotta slog through it anyway. If I didn't have prior art to compare with I'd be lost.
I think I'm done with this coef() method for the now though. It's taken way longer than it should have and I'm feeling a bit averse to staring at it much more.
If you come up with something more elegant you want to share, I'll certainly appreciate it though. This is the kind of logic that should be routine in any language, and I'll need to wrap my head around the Elixir way regardless. If I have to approach loops like this every time I'm gonna end up losing my shit too often.
Oh. You don't have to do the whole algorithm for me. If you've already rewritten the coef() function recursively, that will hopefully clue me into a better way to approach it.
The JavaScript I included was a chunk of a reference implementation of AKS that I was using to compare and validate the results of my own. Here's the full AKS in a handful of languages, though not Elixir.
If it's a choice of immigrant groups to point the finger at, the Indians will be the absolute last on my list. While living in Toronto I've lived in a predominantly Indian area (Gerrard & Coxwell) and also a Muslim area (East York / Danforth), and I can tell you I always felt welcome and well treated by the Indians, but like an unwelcome foreign interloper when interacting with the Muslims. With very few exceptions that's been my overwhelming experience any time I've interacted with either group. Also the Indian food is delicious and inexpensive, unlike most of the Muslim's food which tastes like char broiled dogshit. Can't say I appreciate either group's musical tastes. But if I have to live side-by-side with either one, I'll take the Indians by a long shot. They're also far less likely to want to behead me with a machete for practising my religion.
I don't have any such desire. I am fine with Indians being here. Most of the folks I know personally are at least 2nd generation, and are just as Canadian as myself. If I were to be that ignorant towards immigrants, I'd have to insist we all pack our bags and leave the native people in peace to regain back their own lands. Anything less is hypocritical BS.
As to Muslims, just like Jews and Christians, my issue is that their religion historically makes them bigots towards those of other belief systems. It's only a matter of degrees how much, with that bigotry constantly bubbling beneath the surface waiting for the next excuse to erupt violently. I suspect your own opinions to be of that ilk tbh.
