@nixCraft Reading the thread, he was using it to write code and found CoPilot to be more suited for his needs. So I don't exactly know what is his beef against "Generative AI" but he's a big fan of the more specialized ones.

@nixCraft Usually I expect a party or nice dinner out. I only had one job with a bonus structure but it was contractually spelled out on product release and an expected range of sales. What I don't get is handing out bonus to management when the economy is tight and major layoffs have happened. What's that bonus supposed to mean in this case ehen management obviously failed here ?

@nixCraft Yep. I had the exact copy and the ethernet module could not be written for some reason (and McMillan support didn't help). Threw the whole thing to trash and installed a Mandrake distro I found in a magazine which worked flawlessly.

@nixCraft I model my licence aggreement based on Poul-Henning Kamp's Beerware licence - although my minimal revision number is a 6% ABV, don't give me tap water that passes for a beer in certain places.
