    yesterday as I was trying to take a piss during a break in the middle of the short movie festival, I came up with a pitch for a short movie of my own. I brought it up to a few people on the afterparty and they loved it and tried to convince me to actually make it happen, with me refusing. I'm very much on the fence right now because I don't know much about movie production, but apparently it's fine to just create a pitch and then let other members of your crew cover other aspects, plus our courses where the short films are made allegedly teach you a lot about this. I also don't feel like starting new projects with the amount of free time that I have, but it could be a great experience. very torn about it right now

    psychological comedy about a lad in his early 20s, who comes to a similarly young male experimental psychologist with the problem that he finds it very hard to piss in the vicinity of other people. the psychologist gradually tries to find the root cause(s) of this problem, which is intervowen with flashbacks where he was or was not able to piss

    in the second half of the movie, the psychologist devises an exposure therapy which consists of the two guys holding their sessions outside by taking hikes to a meadow above the city. in the first session, the psychologist stands about 20 meters away from the guy with his back turned as the guy tries to take a piss, succeeding after a brief internal struggle. in the subsequent session, the psychologist gets closer and closer to him as he pisses. during all of this, they gradually develop a platonic friendship

    I haven't settled on a conclusion yet, or if there would even be one, but the last scene could be that some short time after the therapy is concluded, the guy goes to take a piss in his office building and fails, which could imply that the therapy only worked for the case that the person nearby is the psychologist

    @amerika ah, that would explain a lot. I went for a morning run about ten days ago and in a single hour I passed two ambulances and a firetruck, all rushing somewhere. I thought we're just hitting new levels of slow collapse but this might have been a cause as well
