I play my games happily on a mini-PC running Kubuntu. It makes zero sense to spend 5x the cost of my whole computer on a graphics card that won't make my games more fun.

I think a big part of the problem with adoption is that people don't understand how much of Windows isn't Windows-only.

Interfaces carry over 99% intact. It's not like switching to Linux is a completely alien environment, different in every way. Most desktop environments on Linux are more like Windows than Mac is.

Keeping his prices high has restricted his clientele to only people who talk shit about taxes but for whom they don't have any material impact.
