  Investigators in Las Vegas are still working to determine a motive for an explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas on New Year's Day. Federal agents wreckage of the truck in their search for answers. Now, authorities say data from the exploded Cybertruck are providing a big boost to the investigation. They say Tesla could have tracking information on the driver's travels in the days before the explosion. Privacy groups say this disclosure highlights their concerns, and say Tesla and other car companies have the ability to spy on their owners and shouldn't be providing that information to law enforcement. Matthew Guariglia, a senior policy analyst with the Electronic Frontier Foundation joins us with more insight.

  @eff No one should be allowed to trade on data that isn't their own. That's the fix, no more data brokering and no more consumer surveillance.
