     @arstechnica In a further shift of all American business and politicians away from objective reality, Microsoft is betting against deterministic computing in favor of probabilistic computing.

     No one will ever be really sure of what's going on ever again.

     I actually am not saying this ironically, but this might present the greatest opportunity for Linux on the desktop yet. Nadella is betting the farm on AI will reduce focus on maintaining Windows as an actually useful operating system.

     And when that bubble bursts, it might be what finally takes down Windows for good.

     All of the enshittification on Windows 11 is already driving people away as it stands. It can only get worse.
