    Well yes, but actually no - in one sense, all the Aionios soldiers are "non-binary", but in the same way that African-born niggas living in America are technically "African-American", but not in the way the term is actually used. Aionios soldiers only have the vaguest understanding of the "gender binary", enough to use the correct pronouns for male and female characters (and that's probably just done for writing and language reasons), but no understanding of it beyond that. Hell, Moebius even seem to have completely suppressed their sex drives (Noah and Lanz are normal, red-blooded males, yet feel nothing while bathing together with a beauty like Eunie).

    So the soldiers already lack proper, defined male and female identifies - which is precisely what "enbies" rebel against. The idea that Juniper, *while under the Flame Clock*, would alone among all soldiers have enough of a "gender identity" to not only be truly aware of her femaleness, but to actively reject it, would be bizarre and lore-breaking to say the least.

    On a related note, Juniper's class is way better than I remembered it - just inflict Bleed on the enemy (several good Arts can inflict that status), boost Ether damage and make use of the high Crit rate of the class, and suddenly the archer is doing really good damage! Its main flaw is being an Agnian class focused on positioning, when Agnian Arts recharge through auto-attacking, and you can't auto-attack while moving around.

    Note that in Xenoblade 3 itself Juniper NEVER mentions anything about having a deviant "gender identity", and the setting itself makes it extremely unlikely.

      Just a reminder that the extreme right is using toxic masculinity as a way to recruit young men. While we can easily blame men for being toxic, I don't think it will fix much. We need to create a narrative that speaks to men that feel lost. One that's different than all the toxic shit that's so effective on these guys right now. There's legions of young men feeling left behind by society, and we need to make sure they don't feel that way before things get ugly.
