Simply put, GameCube and Wii games will almost inevitably be less ambitious, not just in terms of execution, but also in terms of concept compared to their HD console sequels. Metroid Prime 4 is pretty much guaranteed to feature bigger and busier areas than Prime 1, along with putting more monsters on screen at the same time while probably being a bigger game in general, and given the Switch’s obvious technical limitations, that will probably come at the cost of either resolution or framerate, possibly both. A game like Prime 1 by contrast did nothing that would seriously tax the Switch, so the guys behind the remaster could just focus on making the game a feast for the eyes, while at the same time managing to keep the remaster locked at 60 FPS.

    Hang on, where did THIS come from? After the first half of 2024 was absolutely dogshit for the Switch (a baby mode Peach game and Paper Tranny being the highlights), today's Nintendo Direct actually ended up being really fucking good: brand new Mario & Luigi, new Zelda spin-off (which actually looks super promising), new game by the Danganronpa guys, the GOOD Ace Attorney Investigations game actually finally makings its way to the West, a Donkey Kong Country Returns HD remaster, Perfect Dark on the NSO Expansion Pack, and oh yeah, FUCKING METROID PRIME 4!

    Also, no acknowledgement of Fag Month, unless the Nintendo World Championships game is meant to give trannies representation due to the speedrunning aspect.

    @ArdainianRight Didn't even think about that, I mainly thought it was about him being a fairly young and "soft" young boy (especially compared to your other Machina character, Lanz), which some would interpret as him being androgynous-looking.

    Valdi being specifically targeted due to being "Autist Coded" (similarly to Shulk btw, but Shulk was always undeniably straight even before his fatherhood was confirmed), is a far darker interpretation, but disturbingly plausible given how these "people" operate.

    Of course, Juniper was targeted as part of the Tomboy Genocide agenda.

    @ArdainianRight I genuinely think the trannylators had already decided beforehand to turn a XB3 Hero into an "enby", and it came down to Juniper or Valdi. I know for a fact that certain pre-release tweets referred to Valdi using they/them pronouns, back when Juniper was still referred to as female. Then the game came out, and the roles were reversed. Apparently Juniper's voice actress is "non-binary", so that might have caused the troonlators to scrap their original plans.
