Just to be clear, you're not mixing up yen and dollars, right? Nintendo's market cap is a quarter of Microsoft's revenue. An acquisition with shares would involve like 2-3% of Microsoft's stock. Microsoft is a *massive* cloud services provider that is still making bank on legacy services, they aren't poor by any means. -

I can't find anything backing this up. All I've found is people claiming that the Corruption of Champions (1) source was released to the public at some point, without a license, and it has since been removed from GitHub. I'm also seeing people claim that the source for CoC2 will never be distributed, for what it's worth. -

Guys are still malleable to an extent, plenty of these guys would have "made it" if they were instead born as boomers, for example. Writing it off as nature instead of nurture is what the groomers want to do, so they can re-contextualize what they do as "helping people discover what they are". -

I'm not going to sympathize with anyone who chooses to stay with this abusive partner going forward and happens to get burned when the screws tighten again and they have no escape plan. Sadly, I expect that there's going to be plenty of developers clinging to what they know. -
