     This is fairly common in the talented boys in nigville. Standards are so easy they’ll be failing classes out of disinterest, laziness while having tons of “potential”

     Note that it was a man who discovered the kids talent and put it to use. How many kids are going to waste because the harpies babysitting them are too foolish to recognize it? (too bad he turned out a redditor but at least he tried)

     See, what’s fun about all this - despite the bland answers - is that this is supposedly a firmly astroturfed ZOG playground. This is like eavesdropping on the priests huddled in the bowels of their pederast ziggurat. If they’re saying this with little pushback, then it’s becoming super apparent to a lot more than just them. The true believers probably fight this notion for years until they finally acknowledge reality.

     The point about teachers not gaining the respect of boys is very important. I remember the only teacher I ever considered 'good' at his job was also the only one who had a degree in what he was teaching (a masters in astronomy). He would be able to answere basically any question we could come up with on the spot, and would regularly point out exciting space things happening. For example there was a probe that did a close flyby of pluto (the fist ever) while we were there and he excitedly showed everyone the pictures in class. That also happens to be the only class I ever studied for.

     @Reluctant_Weeb @WashedOutGundamPilot Yeah having engaging teachers that know their subject matter makes a huge difference. Of course, then the working conditions have to be appealing to people skilled enough to make it in the actual field. That said, sometimes that’s achievable by industry conditions being terrible in a given region, though it’s not great for morale to admit to students that one of the best achievable outcomes for them if they learn your subject is becoming a school teacher of that subject.

     during elementary school, I was able to do work years ahead of my age so they just let me work in the library instead of doing work. There really aren't many options for accelerated gradeschool, at least here in Canada.

     I remember getting to high and finding out I qualified for Honors classes, I though "oh cool maybe I'll learn more or different things because I'm more advanced" and then found out nope the only difference in honors classes is they get assigned more homework.
     
     And that's really the fucking problem, oh joy the only thing I get for being better than everyone is more worthless work that ruins my free time from the prison I go to everyday.

     Marginalized, literally being taken care of and coddled. The boys and guys don't even have to be violent, they just stop showing up on critical jobs for long enough and it fails. Most guys have the long term understanding that they will benefit very little by expanding a ton of effort and energy.

     I literally made the assignments for one teacher, wrote the entire unit for her new book to teach from, but she failed me because I didn’t ALSO turn in the portfolio (that the unit was supposed to replace)

     Their laziness and nitpickery was awful

     guy was young but holy shit the way he dissected formulas and procedures with ease was great and he was always so excited about it, when i entered college i was horrible at it but because of this guy i studied hard even asking him if i could take extra classes with him.
     
     
     after a rough start i evnetually graduated with almost perfect notes in all my heavy math subjects in my engineering

     I fing is notable the last one mentioned the "toxic old male clubs" and how they are dismantling them. I've played rugby for 10 years and I've noticed at my university that the sports folks are coming after the club, there's always an HR bitch watching practice, we keep getting complaints about "problematic language" on the pitch, and they are just itching for one of us to fingerblast a drunk chick. I find this noticed because this club has literally turned failing students into 4.0s because of the pressure to be excellent in all aspects of life the permeates rugby culture. I also don't think it's a coincidence that the girls team has simultaneously been getting a huge push by the school.

     Really depends on each slot and role. A lot of the crap is that women run the show, and that inherently pushes boys away. We don’t know how to deal with them, so they build up grudges and fights over the school year. When it comes time to sign up for debate/school clubs, the boys think they’d rather be at home gaming instead.

     If "liberal" men believe that the system advantaged them for being men, and "conservative" men believe that the system disadvantages them for the same reason and so don't apply, could this explain the reason for the huge discrepancy between these two groups and the positions they end up holding? If the truth is really somewhere in between what these two groups believe, this may explain why there are so many "bug men" with so much influence.
