@synapsid And to those who think the ancient Israelites are something we should aspire to, the ones who God destroyed the temple of their covenant twice for their sins, is a fool. The old covenant is superseded and buried, fulfilled by the cross. There is no temple to sacrifice to; the laws of Moses are void. And the sacred tradition of the church teaches us that polygamy is an abomination. Refusing the communion and wisdom of a sensible church and thinking yourself better than them, doing the whole "me and my bible alone under the tree", leads to error and potential heresy.
