@coolboymew @Calvin @pip gf read the manga and wanted to watch the anime together

We skipped the bount arc immediately and just continue with it. It really doesn't make a difference lmao

Apart from that filler, my thoughts are:

The first arc is quite boring.
The Soul society arc was nice
The bount arc sucks, skip
The arrancar arrival arc is fine
The hueco mundo invasion arc is a bit boring, not that bad but typical enemy of the week structure
The hueco mundo fight arc is amazing
The fullbring arc is okay, fun
The new one seems great but I haven't seen it, waiting for it to advance so I watch it with gf

@adiz I think the issue is that even if you build an ecosystem as good or even better than the established ones from Apple and Google, it just won't make people adopt it unless one of the two established ecosystems make a mistake big enough

@11thJeff the issue with having an algorithm is that it eventually becomes exploitable. The social platform then shifts from being social to being a billboard for brands and products.

This make people stop interacting for the sake of socializing and start doing so for getting views and followers. This is not healthy.

Yes, you can have healthy people eventually realizing this and not falling for it while still using the platform, but those are people that had to realize the problem and overcome it. The average person will fall for this unhealthy usage and it even becomes their entire lifestyle.

This is why having no algorithm is, in my opinion, better. Because there is no algorithm to exploit, no trick to get popular, no secret to advertisement; it's just people.
