   Inochi2D means a lot to me, but my real "dream" is to do game and game engine development. But I don't think that dream will ever come true. It's hard to find people both interested in the same things as me, as well as ones that'd want to work with someone who can't pay them. And I'm too tired to hone skills like art.

   Maybe my income situation will change some day or I'll have more energy and time to hone other skills, but for now I feel that dream is dead.

     With Inochi2D I can just focus on the technical aspects, as such it's something I can feasibly make. But the problem with that is that tooling alone doesn't fulfill my creative needs and I don't have the time or energy to pursue other creative callings.

     I wanted to try to make a game for comiket to show off Inochi2D's abilities, but I'm afraid that all I'd be able to make is a game with colored cubes.

     Looking for a pixel artist with both the time and the willingness to work on something that'd probably be given away for free and that I couldn't cover the cost for predictably failed.

     So I don't know if I'll be able to bring a game there. Maybe I should give up on making games altogether.

     Inochi2D started as a subsystem for game development, and it does seem that people are interested in using for that. Just sad that I probably won't be able to use it for the thing I actually made it for.

     @feinzer it started being directly being built in to the engine, so the engine just accepted models as a built in file type in its virtual file system.

     Game engine was made for a lesbian foxgirl riichii mahjong + visual novel fusion game I was trying to make before the person I was working with left the project.

     I've only tried game dev on some popular engines so I really don't know much myself but it's one of my dreams to eventually make one

     @feinzer For other engines, I'm working on integrations for the engines, eg with Unity I'm making a Unity port of the Inochi2D library that uses the CommandBuffer class to render the Inochi2D scene to texture.
