@Mastodon Hopefully this encourages independent journalists who use Threads now to join an actual Mastodon instance. As it stands now, the people who operate Threads filter the content from some journalists they personally don't like. Seth Abramson is an example of one they have silenced. His posts don't make their way to Mastodon anymore.

@Gargron @w3c There are a handful of people I really enjoyed reading/interacting with from twitler who are now exclusive with Threads.After Federation, will I be able to simply follow them from my Mastodon account? If so, this seems pretty cool indeed.
