"You mean I use INSERT to insert data, and DELETE to delete data, and SELECT to get particular rows and columns? And CREATE TABLE to create a table" - me taking my first and only DB class in college.
"...and I get to use GUI tools or web apps for administrative tasks like backups and restores! awesome"
The fact is, abortion referenda passed in the majority of states in which they were held - all of which were red states or swing states that went to Trump, as blue states have no need for an abortion referendum.
That means that voters take Trump's word for it that abortion legalization will be a state issue.
That means that no GOP candidate or party strategist will ever need to take sides on the abortion question; the voters have answered it themselves. If Dems try to politicize the issue - "vote for us to keep abortion legal" - voters will ignore them, and the more they rely on abortion messaging the less relevant they become.
It's so funny to me that shitlibs on the #social sites are saying that #polymarket is rigged by muh rich #white#male oppressor.
They aren't taking into consideration that the #rich#whales are risking their own money staking on an outcome they consider to be an inevitability. Or that the total size of the betting market is too big for any one whale to manipulate. Or that every market position requires a counter-party betting on the opposite outcome.
The Big Bet (on the electoral outcome) is $3.2 Billion.
There are additional markets on the EC margin, and additional markets on swing states, and markets on the popular vote margin within swing states. It's well in excess of $3.2 Billion, and all of it, except for two swing states, skews towards Trump.
