You think they'll ever talk about the two who are responsible for modern no-fault divorce being legal?
The two being jews who started it in Russia around 100 years ago and the conservative idle Ronald Reagan. I typed idle on purpose because Hollywood actor Ronald Reagan is a piece of shit who never did anything conservative.
The "gipper?" More like the "grifter" if you ask me.
When you get into stuff like getting a slot at Sniper School or something like a nuclear tech in the Navy or the equivalent high tech job in the Air Force you'll start to see higher cut off scores for the ASVAB.
The highest I think I remember seeing was 110 or maybe 120 though.
Yep, that is the exact same thing I saw. I think most people with a GT score of 120 would end up with an 80 something or 90 something percentile score but it probably is technically possible to get a 70 percentile and 120 GT score.
I remember someone being so excited to make one point over the cutoff for the percentile score and I felt sorry for them. I hope the military worked out for them and they got some job where they didn't risk getting someone killed because I'm not sure there would be much for them on the civilian side.
Still, it's crazy to know that ASVAB waivers are actually a thing and not just an insult like how we used to call someone who wasn't very smart an "ASVAB waiver."
Looks like they're trying to figure out which chemicals will denature the proteins in their hair to straighten them but also will not cause their hair to fall out at the same time.
Is it because that stuff is in their nature and it makes them feel better to think that Europeans (I'm sure it was never mentioned that Tucker is jewish and the movie character was likely portrayed as a non jew as well) do it too?
Being jewish I would say there is a decent chance that he didn't actually do it and I think it is as bad or maybe worse since he would have to sit there and imagine what it would be like to do it and then describe it.
I think I read one or two articles by him before I truly hated him and then, go figure, they made a movie about him or his "character."
Yeah, I've only seen a couple of those sailing blogs and they all ended up stuck somewhere washing dishes or whatever so they could afford a few grand or more in repairs to make it to their next destination.
I don't like the possibility of getting stuck somewhere because of crap like that but it doesn't bother some people that much apparently.
I have a German great grandfather who was, I think, an infantryman during WW2 and got a purple heart because he got shot in the foot by a German sniper. I'd like to know more about him and document everything from him and my great grandmother during that time. I'd also like to know more about the sniper who shot him. I can't help but wonder if they might be related since he was a second generation German immigrant to the US.
I'd bet if he knew then what we know now he wouldn't have helped defeat the Germans in any way though.
Looks like they've been around for awhile but they do sound great and seem to be good entertainers as well. There are some bands from the 1990s and 2000s that I never got the chance to see in their prime that I want to see before it is too late. For instance, I like the band "The Killers" and have heard from several people who weren't even into them before seeing them live that they put on a great show and sound great live.
The internet has been great about allowing people to find new bands and share bands they like but it seems like it is harder to find actual bands who play musical instruments now. Aside from rap and pop music it seems like not as many people are interested in creating new bands/music and everything seems to be walled off in its own separate niche area now.
I like having many different bands/genres to choose from but it is hard to connect with people now since there aren't as many people who listen to the same bands like there used to be. Back in the 2000s you were able to connect with people since they listened to at least a few of the same big name bands that you did and also show each other new bands that were "underground" as well.
I don't watch any TalmudVision and very few movies but I imagine it is similar in that area as well.
Does anyone else think that German and American aircraft perform and look great while the British stuff looked godawful and was always trying to catch up (aside from the Rolls Royce engines)?
Japanese stuff isn't too bad either I guess. The Zero looked better than most British stuff.
That thing looks better than the spitfire at least.
Best air to ground aircraft in WW2, in my opinion, was the Stuka and the best fighter aircraft was the FW-190 or variants of it. I'd consider the Me-262 but it wasn't made in large enough numbers really.
As far as aesthetics go, the FW-190 is the best looking aircraft in WW2 with the P-51 coming in second. Best looking piston powered aircraft of all time probably.
If the Germans had made a few different decisions we might be speaking German and be better for it.
