@thatguyoverthere Government bad, but I would be okay if government not bad. Small government with strong antitrust provisions to prevent libertarian tankgirl water wars type abuses would be preferred. Getting there might take a strongman.
@Reluctant_Weeb@Griffith I'm simply talking about going into adulthood. Millennials did not know the extent of damage to the social contract until they were rugpulled, verses a lot of zoomers who chose not to ride the debt slavery rollercoaster at all. I don't like that so many men are choosing to opt out of society. I understand why, but I don't think it's the right move.
@Reluctant_Weeb@Griffith In a way, they did. Millennials were told University education would pay for itself in a short time and then 2008 rug pulled their dreams. Zoomers went in with less expectations and many rejected the traditional 4 year path in favor of 8 years of low debt part time school or simply entering trades or alternate paths. Nobody had it easy, and there's plenty of stuff that millennials had that zoomers missed out on, like a semi functional society. If I hadn't gotten my first house when I did, it would've been a huge pain in the ass to get into one today.
@Owl@Shadowman311 >Also is being a 50s housewife so bad to people in modernity? Of course it is. Modernity is Thelemic— "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law". Anything which impedes that ability to seek pleasure and find your 'authentic purpose', such as a duty towards your household, is seen as evil. Such things are built up to such a strawman that any attempt to curb appetites of any kind are seen as fascistic. Want people to not sleep with hundreds of people, care about their physical appearance, upkeep their home, or find purpose in helping people a traditional way? Fascist. Very simple. Thelema enables jewish power schemes and to fight it is to be fascistic and anti-Semitic.
@Owl@Shadowman311 There's a reason many Christians view libertarianism as incompatible with the faith, and it's because NAP is functionally Thelema repackaged. This has been known about since Ayn Rand but conservatives are trained wrong on purpose. Obviously people who are traditionalists and hold libertarian views don't see it this way; it's compartmentalized and government is the driving force behind the dysfunction and degeneracy all around them.
@Omega_Variant@Owl@Shadowman311 Unfortunately so. The enlightenment was a devastating psyop enabling greater lies like the abandonment of peoples, nations, family, and duty in favor of ideological loyalty to pleasure and misdirected self-interest.
@thatguyoverthere Sorry to hear that. Sometimes the body just overrides the brain on that. I once slept until like 2 PM after going to bed at a normal time, totally sober. Turns out I was fighting an infection and didn't realize it.
@PeachySummer@sickburnbro Not sold. Holding the bag as it were. Could also be depreciation related, which is wizardry accounting to pay less taxes but unlikely.
@thatguyoverthere >very fine wall, and believe me, I'm a yuge fan of walls! It's true! People tell me, they say, "Donald you just love walls so much!" and you know what- they're right!
@Victor_Emmanuel@WashedOutGundamPilot >Wait, does this mean she’s interested or not? it means she's interested in you and you caught her checking you out. Especially if she's otherwise friendly towards you.
@Victor_Emmanuel@WashedOutGundamPilot Yes kind of? But like if you smiled at her first and then looked away and catch her glance lingering and she darts away when you look back, that's the same thing. I had a girl who was madly into me in my younger years that I caught doing this and was autistically Chad enough to ask her. Her BFF told me it's because she was in love with me. I never would've realized because I'm a guy. Women truly do not get our level of obliviousness and lack of passive absorption of their way of communicating.
@Victor_Emmanuel@WashedOutGundamPilot >a single failure is catastrophic Only if you let it be. Don't sweat it and it's not. Seriously. Asking a girl if she wants to go to the Christmas festival with you and getting turned down is a part of getting practice. Your self esteem might be hurt a bit, but it's also a lesson in what exactly you might've missed or interpreted the wrong way. It doesn't even have to be very formal. >I'm going to the Christmas festival this weekend. Ever go? Oh cool, maybe I'll see you there! And judging reaction might be enough of as thing to ask if she wants to meet there and prompt the phone number exchange. If you're nervous of accusations of impropriety and the state law allows it, put your phone's recorder software on (and minimize the app before putting in your pocket in case phone number exchange happens). And I just realized none of this matters because you're trying to figure out why you're attracting a girl you have no interest in. Good luck with that! :angrylaugh:
@Victor_Emmanuel@WashedOutGundamPilot Just 🐝 yourself. I found my wife after several relationships and dating things that made me so sick of everything I swore off dating for the foreseeable future (even turned some down). I think there's a vibe you give off when you're truly not interested that a lot of women pick up on.
