Not everything is about the fucking election for Christ's sake. I think there's a possibility that they're getting ahead of a big leak, or trying to cover up sightings of a new, top-secret plane, drone, or spy balloon. Shit like that is harder to hide now that nearly every living person on earth has a camera in their pocket.

    @Zerglingman @BadFediPosts @Hoss @Victor_Emmanuel yeah, I define "UFI" literally, but a lot of people define it as "alien craft". That's why they changed the name to UAP, Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon, to distance from the bad reputation of the acronym "UFO" but it won't work. UAP sounds even more mysterious than UFO imho and will come to mean "alien craft" to people just as quickly. I hate UFO videos but I'll watch them with my wife.

    @Hoss @Zerglingman @Victor_Emmanuel @BadFediPosts for me it was the tic tac UFO video. He just made it seem like anybody who believed that those could be alien crafts from outer space was a doorknob-licking special needs child.

    Meanwhile, my wife was marathon-watchimg tic tac videos with a look on her face like a feisty kitten, saying "Look at that thing! I told you so!!!" every ten seconds, because she'd seen a UFO as a child, with a group of other kids. I'd also seen a UFO as a kid, and another as an adult, but I believe the ones I saw had a more terrestrial origin. The first one I saw was a prototype drone, imho, because it was completely silent and able to hover, and the second one, I'm pretty sure it was an SR-71 Blackbird. I define UFO as 'something I saw in the sky that I couldn't identify" and she defines UFO as "ALIEN CRAFTS FROM OUTER SPACE". But I still love her, and don't want anybody probing her except for me

But like you said, he strayed out of his wheelhouse and was every bit as condescending about his opinions as he was about scientific facts proving some kickstarters were scams. It's OK to be a condescending dick to a proven scammer, not so much when discussing other things.

    I appreciate the sentiment though, I really do. A lot of people don't count the cost of Covid on landlords and small business owners because fuck landlords and fuck rich people. The truth is, most landlords and small business owners are like my wife and I; they only had one asset, they worked very hard to get it, then they were bled dry during Covid and had to divest themselves of the asset at a loss. The kicker is, no matter what the asset was, it was usually a big corporation who snapped it up. Fucking sucks but all you can do is carry on.

Biden must be grinding his teeth and muttering "fracking...fracking..." in his sleep. Should have let them finish building that Keystone pipeline.

    And good luck getting electric cars on the road with all the coal mines and coal-fired power plants out of business. All the green dreams ate floating away like cow farts now.

    @11112011 no, I just have my own thoughts on geopolitics and the like, and sometimes they align closely with politicians in office.

    Lately it's mostly been rightoids because the lefties been fucking everything up so badly, but there's issues I don't agree with the rightoids about. Like issues of personal freedom, abortion, religion. Let rightoids get too much power and they'll start legislating away your Sundays and telling you what you can do in the privacy of your own home---and trumpeting about freedom the whole time they're doing it.

    But look what the lefties have done in just three years, ffs, it's a mess. Brought us to the brink of collapse and the edge of WWIII. I remember a time when lefties were AGAINST war, not trying to start 3 at a time. JEEEEZUS
