   I appreciate the sentiment though, I really do. A lot of people don't count the cost of Covid on landlords and small business owners because fuck landlords and fuck rich people. The truth is, most landlords and small business owners are like my wife and I; they only had one asset, they worked very hard to get it, then they were bled dry during Covid and had to divest themselves of the asset at a loss. The kicker is, no matter what the asset was, it was usually a big corporation who snapped it up. Fucking sucks but all you can do is carry on.

     I am really sorry you lost your cats and your house you worked so hard for.
     
     My wife and I tore down the extra house not that it was much on the piece of property next to us because taxes were outrageous on it and renting well we have heard too many stories since covid.
