@DW2 @TrevorGoodchild I saw the same and it's apparent the tanks really oversold the action since it's obvious tank dude was just out for a drive and didn't want to hurt anyone (and it's highly doubtful those tanks were armed in any way so they were probably just used to block streets off).

The commies there get their panties in a twist over absolute bullsh!t (Winnie the Pooh) so their apparent panic in that regard gives outsiders the impression that they're trying to hide something big when if they just didn't care then no one else would care either.

Since J6 I've come to doubt the official storyline as it's clear that American regime tanks would have driven right over their own dissidents *even if* they knew it was being "taped". In the Chinamen case the tanks didn't run him over even though they had no reason to think they were being recorded

Now that you mention it I didn't start to think hard about the Thrawn trilogy until all three films were crapped out and I wondered why, if they were going to make retread anyway, why didn't they use the novels so that at least the retread wouldn't suck.

I'd quibble slightly over the actor's age as it would have been better and easier to move Zahn's trilogy a couple decades into the future rather than what they ended up doing.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Burned out my first PS3 playing their stuff in the background when playing games (for anyone who recalls the last time Sony was remotely cool and would let you replace a game's sound track with your own). Auron McIntyre had an okay show not too long ago where he noted, from a historical standpoint, that when true science reaches it's limits in what it can achieve for society that it will devolve into a religion.
