Under 50k will be very, very difficult to find a lender that won't charge 18%+ interest. I know someone who was forced to buy his house with cash because no broker would give him a $90k loan. In fact, most lenders have minimums at $150k and $200k.

There would be zero "energy crisis" anywhere in the world (at least in European countries) if they didn't shut down or decommission every nuclear plant over the last 20 years without new plants to replace.
    The majority of nuclear plants still running are in US, Canada, China, and various other Asian countries. There are a handful still running in Europe, in France and maybe one other country.
    If a country doesn't have massive amounts of hydro power (like Canada), "green energy" is code for "criminals scamming the public".

    @moshibar @moshibar @coolboymew The way that the camera tracks is exactly why you are reminded of game CGI animation.
    They did something cool with this intro to the show, but also failed at executing it in various ways. In some shots, characters are lying down on the ground, standing above the ground, and other oddities. Not enough frames in many shots, especially walking. No textures and overly glossy surfaces. Many problems.
    Still, it was somewhat enjoyable. It's understandable that a shot like that would require cheap CGI without a multi-million dollar budget and many years of work.

    @coolboymew I am bilingual, just not with French. Even so, it's pretty straightforward, and I can decipher most of it at a glance (including the not needing to stop to think about it). I can't say if it was using very simple language, or if it's because they put the majority of the complicated thoughts in English. I'd think most Europeans can easily read two or more languages in a jumble (assuming they use the same structure, or just replace nouns and verbs).

It is enhanced 100 times by women who make the lifestyle choice of refusing to breast feed, beginning the facial deformity from birth as the child never builds appropriate strength in the tongue muscles, and never trains to keep his tongue raised in the correct position (and feeding the child toxic slop instead, of course). Ever wondered why you had to have four teeth removed from the back of your mouth but your grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, etc didn't? I'm sure everyone has noticed how every other person seems to be lacking a chin these days.
    It's amazing how easy it is to deform the human body and cause lifelong suffering with a few simple subversive tricks.
