Would make more sense if there was an in universe reason, like I don't know say overloading it with it's elemental type kills it? I think Crystal Chronicles tackled this and very easily. Square should stop treating Final Fantasy like a RedHeaded stepchild and give it proper love instead. IPs like Triangle Strategy and Octopath Traveler and Braving Default are where you test these ideas, not fucking Final Fantasy. The game that saved your retarded studio in the late 80s. Jesus fuck. It embarrasses me more that Enix even wanted to merge with Square back in the early 2000s. Probably some blood feud where they thought they could eliminate each other is why they accepted it, I don't know. I'm sure if I showed Enix what FF looked like today they definitely wouldn't have accepted that merger and laughed Square proper right off. -

Oh yeah I totally wanted Final May Cry Ultimate Capcom Street Fighter 27 vs. Marvel and DC to be game of the year and to further ruin what Final Fantasy actually is and could be! I fucking can't believe they got the DMC director/producer to direct the combat in it, that just shows to me that Square-Enix (Soft) gives zero fucks for the main franchise that saved them back in the 80s.
By the way the combat director will be back for iterative roles because "He saved Final Fantasy" (If XVI sells well, which it won't and isn't from what I have seen) just like he saved DMC and Shin Megami Tensei. (The only credit being he wrote Dante better in SMT3, which is cool and all but still) They will shove guys who have never worked on a mainline FF franchise into director/executive producer roles because... they """saved""" an MMO and hack and slash games? DMCV is amazing because it isn't Devil may Cry or DMC 2 and Yoshi Piss saving an MMO? He worked on XI and that's still better than XIV, with the only credits he got in the past 30 years being special thanks in every FF and DQ iteration LMFAO.
Final Fantasy you could say disgraced it self with the XIII trilogy but even then it was way better than what XV or XVI could offer these days. Clive is a trash MC and I won't take that back. (MUH NIGGERS ARENT IN THE GAME EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE A WHOLE KINGDOM AND ARE STORY CRITICAL ALONGSIDE A FAGGOT KISSING ANOTHER DUDE HAPPENS. OH THEY ALSO ADOPT A KID.) Mopier and dopier and edgier than Cloud or Squall was in VII and VIII. FFVIIR will unironically be better because it won't take itself as seriously and still pushes forward that visual-kei bad assness.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @DW2 There's a lot of good music out there it's just that it IS buried underneath a million layers of subgenres, I think Sven talked about this recently on TDS too recently. Nothing can break through the mainstream in terms of anything rock/metal/classical and all of its subgenres because jews and record labels don't want actual thought provoking critical music out there. Hell, they don't want fun music made by Whites at all out there in the mainstream, they don't like Japanese rock/metal getting big either by the way, look at X-Japan, Loudness, Dead End, AION, Rosenfeld. I can keep going but yes, there's still a lot of good music out there. -
