    @Kyonko802 @Meemoo @Noraweed @draw @kamehamic I feel like I decided to jump in headfirst into the icepit. You guys are all mint for a first distro. I started with arch 10 months ago as my first distro and I did a install using the manual and not the install script. So far the worst thing thats happened is KDE crashing mid mkinitipio leading to an unbootable system post restart. I am using a used t480 thinkpad as my daily driver right now since my desktops been dead for 10 months.

    Though in all honestly it was a pretty interesting learning experience as I banged my head against the wall trying to figure out how to setup btrfs/dual boot using 1 ssd and making sure that windows isn't going to gut grub over it.

    @Meemoo @Kyonko802 @kamehamic Yeah no I have no desire to actually play games from riot anymore. I'm pretty happy just playing co op games that don't have stupid amounts of intrusive anticheat. DRG has been great and works on linux. Competitive games are probably just worthless at this point.

    I believe a response a lot of the time that they use for Linux isn't allowed because it enables more cheating and then you look at the new AI ML cheats that feed game inputs to make it look like you're a real player and its just yeah..... Bull shit.

    @theorytoe they want e2e encryption in DMs so that they can ERP in dms without worrying about a server breach and plaintext dm leaks. When I believe the real issue with E2E DMs on fediverse is the issue of multidevice support.

It's a bit disappointing that some people in the server are "i'm not transphobic but I like using trap as a term".
