@MoeBritannica I've heard about this. This is, as I speculate, what will spark GamerGate 2.0.
The SBI Detector group hasn't really even done anything wrong. The list of games they have is right from SBI's website. If anything, the "harm" in question is just the risk of those games not selling....not that I should care about that, because SBI seems to shit things up. Then again, SBI seems to include "remnants" of certain parties during the original GamerGate thing in 2014. By "parties", I mean individuals, but I couldn't find a better plural word.
One of them went into the group and left a long-ass post, culminating in a "It's [CURRENT YEAR]" statement. Kind of. Screenshots enclosed for sake of clarity. Take from them what you will, because it features an avatar of a manly-sounding anime girl, but know that the text shown in the images references who we're up against. One can only speculate if the "It's [CURRENT YEAR]!" argument continues to hold weight for things such as the way videogames are.
