SuzuHoly crap, I was just watching a video from a Brazillian guy talking about the Hydra Launcher (a software that facilitates pirating games, it's basically the "pirate Steam"). And for fucks sake, the guy started sperging about the "revolutionary, anti capitalist aspect of piracy" and how "it shows what we can do without the constraints of money and following the socialist ideal" and shit like that, and I cringed so hard I almost turned myself inside out.
Honestly, it was a better anti piracy ad than the usual anti piracy ads. I'm way more motivated to pay for my software now, piracy is cringe and gay.
If it was not ruined for you yet, the Hydra github can be found here, the project is open source.
@SamBox9029@Meemoo@luithe one of the funniest things in Terraria is that we have already had 4 or 5 "final updates". Then something happens and they release some huge updates with lots of stuff. But I think that in the last one they actually meant it, and there won't be any more.
@SamBox9029@Meemoo@luithe meanwhile, I just play Terraria, which is basically 2D Minecraft, but better. And the dev actually puts up some meaningful updates instead of focusing on destroying the fun of the game.
@djsumdog that's a pretty neat insight in that article. I was never too into reddit, but even I noticed this situation, and it's nice to see someone documenting this shit.
BTW fedi frens, despite the cringey tag, I'm not asking for "mutual aid" or anything like that. I'm just asking for all the religious guys out there to pray for my state, we have been hit by the most violent storm in the last 100 years. In 4 days, it rained more than the expected average for the whole month of May.
I'm without electricity and water at home since yesterday, and the authorities have no idea when the services will be reestablished. And I'm lucky, since this is the only problem I have, and I managed to get out of the city and go to a friend's apartment in an unaffected city. A lot of people lost their possessions, their homes and even their lives in the tragedy.
And not only are they dealing with the loss, the population is also dealing with the scorn of the rest of the country, because this state is majority White, and mostly Right-leaning, so according to them "we deserved it"

SuzuSo, a friend's girlfriend is doing a student exchange program, she'll be living in Canada for the next couple months. She arrived in Toronto this morning, and sent him a message saying *I've never seen so many brown people in such a short amount of time".
