    I don't think china will resort to nukes, they have to know that particular brand of escalation is suicide. They'll barely scratch the US and the US will have a cast iron excuse to turn them into a cool post-apocalyptic RPG no one will want to play.

    As for affording it... idk. Globohomo don't care about propping up the dollar anymore. They'll happily print it into oblivion to build whatever they need. They can always launch the CBDC afterwards. That's their plan anyhow.

    Think about that. Remember how blackpilled everyone was on US military power back in the late 90s. Everyone distrusted the feds, even when the "good guys" were in power and the residue from the vietnam protests were still pretty heavy in the air. Then 9/11 happened and it practically all evaporated.

    Do they actually say that about twitter? I remember SRS saying it about reddit and I was blown over by their idiocy.

    It is a very effective leftist tactic though. They never ever ever admit they're winning and they're in power. If they have won then they are responsible for things going wrong. If they're somehow the plucky underdog then they can shift blame and keep activists motivated with fake enemies.

    Yeah, you can't use smart TVs as a monitor over here because they count as a TV and you need to get a licence. I just use a monitor my friend was throwing out years back.

    This is exactly what young people do in countries with TV licences. They buy projectors and computers. Very few people under 40 deliberately own TVs.

    The result is that state TV companies are dying and governments are considering making it a "household charge" or a "device charge."

    What does he say specifically? I still haven't gotten around to reading the whole thing.

    I know all of those groups existed in the interwar period and they were the main focus of german patriotism during that time, basically a refuge for everyone rejecting weimarhomo. I assumed they were the natural recruiting ground for NSDAP but I could be wrong.

    I'll give it a read now. I read the one you just posted and it touches on my main bone of contention with natsocs: They're usually hyper focussed on building an all powerful structure but they don't seem to have any plan for what's supposed to happen if it turns on their descendents a few generations later.

    The founding of the US had a lot of fatal flaws, but I think one of the things they got right was acknowledging that they instutions they were building would eventually turn rotten and driving the meme hard into everyone's brain that they had the right and duty to overthrow them.

    It does make life a little harder for the feds when one of the core cultural foundations of the institutions they infected is "it's cool to rope corrupt politicians."

    Don't forget that the soil the NSDAP grew in was a huge network of volkist, wandervogel and freikorps groups which had already been independently formed by locals. Starting decentralised in small trusted groups works.

    They tried that, it was called "boys town" and turned into a major center of child abuse.

    I do think communities should bring back boy scouts and girl guides, but do without the big national governing body because it'll immediately get infiltrated.

    Yeah, I get that feeling.

    It's similar in a lot of professional jobs like that, they used to be high status professions any young man would be lucky to have, but now the training is unaffordable and the entry level jobs have been regulated out of existence, basically old timers pulling the ladder up behind them.

    Doesn't help that they have to compete against foreigners with more experience. On paper anyhow, in places like India and the middle east it's pretty common to just buy qualifications.

    Ohhh ok. I thought you meant they were running some kind of business in their aircraft with their family in the back, like air-gypsies or something. That would be an amazing lifestyle.

    Mining and pipelines makes a lot of sense, grid electricians too I'd imagine. I've heard that's like a typical entry level job for commercial pilots?

    That's really neat about the motorbike guy. Whenever I look at the prices in aviation I just assume it's too expensive to do mundane stuff like deliveries but if he makes it work then that's cool.

    I wish I'd bookmarked it. I read an article by a big climate change expert walking through washington DC with a journalist bullshitting about how the city was going to change as sea levels rose by the mid 2000s and half of it flooded.

    I also remember a newsweek article about how much of new york was going to be underwater by 2010 (most of manhattan).

    The official normie explanation for this is that it was just journalists exaggerating and we should trust the doctors and scientists who all agree it's going to happen this time for real.
