I had a black woman compliment me on my eyes while I was out on my walk today. She was very friendly and nice, and I'm assuming her husband is white since her daughter was a lighter complexion than her -

@coolboymew @r000t I was playing Kingdom Hearts 1 and just thinking about this. As a kid I barely had any games to play. If I wanted to try out a new game I had to spend $7 and rent a new one for a week. Now I have countless games at my fingertips that it's hard to choose sometimes
There are tons of games that if I played as a kid I would have loved, but just never had the chance. So I stuck with many of the same games I enjoyed a lot -

@r000t @coolboymew If somebody wants an easy game then they can get an easier game. As kids most people had many games they could not complete, that's normal.
If a kid is learning math, when they start to struggle on a question you don't immediately give them the answer. If you do, then they will not learn properly. They will rely on you giving them answers. There is such a thing as a weight that is too light to train with. -

@Eiswald @Hoss The Japanese treat houses as depreciating assets similar to cars, which is good to start with. It still means they have a tendency to bulldoze houses and build cheap ones, rather than just try to build longer lasting ones though -

@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew I watched a lot of Dragon Ball and Z as a kid, as well as other stuff like Inuyasha, so when stuff like Naruto and Bleach became popular I kind of felt like I saw enough stuff like that -

@coolboymew @ooignignoktoo Yeah with the pokemon TCG they actually keep supporting really well. I never played magic outside of the digital versions meanwhile they print cards like this and Doctor Who now

@coolboymew @ooignignoktoo I ended up getting the Pokemon gameboy TCG and that's mostly what I actually played. My friends played the pokemon card game with me a bit, but I preferred playing yugioh and bought a bunch of the GBA games of that -

@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew I was pretty young at the time. Apparently I begged my mom to get me pokemon cards, I couldn't even read at the time. So when I eventually got a gameboy pocket and pokemon yellow I could barely do anything and did it all by trial and error -

@ooignignoktoo @coolboymew I was on so many of the trends of that time. Pokemon, pokemon cards, yugioh, even B-daman. I had no idea B-daman was a part of the bomberman franchise. I stopped getting into that stuff with Bakugan I was probably too old at that time
