    I managed to beat the first big boss in Palworld. It was pretty hard, I was probably underleveled for it. The exploration really opens up once you unlock a flight upgrade too

    You can see that basically everybody except for whites and asians is falling way behind and dragging everybody down

    There isn't much reason to explore besides finding new zones where pals spawn and other resource nodes you don't have. And to accomplish your missions.
    I don't think the map is randomly generated either, so it will be the same no matter what.
    Being able to warp between different bases seems really good, but I only have the 1 base so far.
    I had to rebuild my base because I built it on a cliff side and there was no flat land to make some stuff.

    Palworld is pretty fun. As a survival game it's very simple. You only really need to worry about a simple hunger meter with you and your creatures. After that's done you don't have to worry about anything.
    Most resource nodes respawn pretty fast and some can be made infinite with pal operates factories.
    The combat is mostly the same as normal survival games with your pals just auto attacking using their moves.
    The automation is pretty fun, since you're not just setting up a factory and it's more like a farm.

    @smugumin @LukeAlmighty Capcom JP is headed by the Tsujimoto family. Of whom a member is Ryozo Tsujimoto who is basically responsible for producing the Monster Hunter franchise for a long while and recently has been involved with Street Fighter as well. I don't think the higher ups in his family understand video games as much as he does, being more typical Japanese businessmen.
    Their English side however definitely is trying to corrupt and subvert the company. They tanked the Dead Rising franchise when they took it away from JP development and put it in a western studio.

    I just went to my local Gamestop (they actually rebranded it from ebgames) and the Switch section had way more interest than the sony side. There was also a kid talking about a Miku figure. Also the small Toys R Us location there is basically just Pokemon and Sanrio plushes
