❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Avdeevsky direction: capture of the center of Ocheretino by Russian forces
situation as of 21:00 April 22, 2024

Russian units from the “Center” group of troops, taking advantage of the enemy’s disorganization, are moving deeper into the village of Ocheretino .

▪️Assault groups of the Russian Armed Forces, after capturing the southern outskirts of the village, crossed the railway track and gained a foothold in the central part of the village.

▪️Frames of the hoisting of the Russian flag on the military-civil administration building in Ocheretino appeared on the Internet. The soldiers stand at full height, without fear of shelling and calmly moving around the territory. There are practically no sounds of shooting in the background, which indicates the relative safety of being in the center of the village.

🔻Currently, the northern part of the settlement and the water canal area are being cleared, where scattered enemy groups may still remain. Also, the territory of the Altkom brick factory , located on the western outskirts of the village, still remains under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

@DW2 As I was telling folks around a decade ago elsewhere, both force and bribery are required to hold all empires (multiple ethnicities forced into the same polity) together. The more ethnicities involved and the longer the timeline, the amount of both force and bribery required to keep the polity from fracturing increases, and eventually the arc goes parabolic, and the force required becomes brutally repressive and the bribery required bankrupts the state.

❗️Ukraine’s attempt to invade the Belgorod region took place simultaneously in three directions - Russian Ministry of Defense

Ukrainian terrorists tried to invade Russian territory in the areas of Odnorobovka, Nekhoteevka and Sidoroshino. Our aviation, missile forces and artillery worked on them. All attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled, and their formations, having suffered significant losses, were thrown back. There was no border violation.
