@rlier23 When I bought the domain for DRC, I had originally planned on calling it DetroitRockCity, after the KISS song. But a .com domain with that name costs $6000 USD. And I also didn’t want to invite a lawsuit from them over what is probably a copyrighted song title. DetroitRiotCity sounds cooler anyway.

@Rasterman Poast experienced a handful of exoduses in the past year, which birthed new instances like Nicecrew, Beefyboys, and EveningZoo. Quite similar in fact to how DRC was created by a cohort of former FSE regulars. Instance mitosis has become a real phenomenon in the Fediverse.

Now you only get tagged if you have at least 10 scalps to your account. Less of a load for instance this way.

@ChristiJunior He was only able to assume credit for it because his candy ass was safely situated in the cockpit of an American-made AH-64 helicopter, but even then it was his co-pilot (in Harry’s case, BABYSITTER) who is tasked with operating the aircraft’s weapon systems and thus actually fired the ordnance at the enemy. So Harry didn’t do anything in reality.

There are a lot of them in the Detroit area and there were many of them in my class in high school. But the rest of Albanians are generally pretty scummy. Drug dealers and human traffickers, and they have that Muslim insularity and tribalism about them.

We’re just using our instance they we see fit on our little corner of the Fediverse. If anything, it’s these Twitter rapefugees and other sorts who are trying to dictate their arbitrary rules to us, which is absurd and futile.
