@caekislove @HoroTheWhiteWolf U.S. case law, since at least the '90s, has explicitly held: Anime doesn't count as cp, because there are no actual minors depicted wherein. Because 1) No actual flesh-and-blood minor is being depicted, and 2) the "indistinguishable" criteria means that drawings, paintings, sculptures, etc... are clearly able to be differentiated from an actual photograph by the naked eye. This was even explicitly codified into formal U.S. Law in the 2003 PROTECT Act passed by Congress.
It's worth noticing that even Conservative Supreme Court Justices have upheld this ruling very consistently, for a multitude of practical reasons. [For example, a lot of Renaissance-era Catholic religious art would be banned if this precedent were overturned, due to the way cherubs tend to be depicted.]
What gets me is, how retarded must these boomers be, to not even know something this fucking basic? -

It's just that those studies got buried due to shitlibs not wanting their bullshit presuppositions to be challenged. If people actually took the time to read early Church Fathers like St. Athanasius and St. Basil the Great, a lot of confusion over theology on the Holy Trinity would be cleared up.
It's just really sad how much of Protestantism, especially today, is literally nothing more than rehashing a bunch of ancient heresies that had already been refuted and condemned by the Church long, long ago. -

Evangelical Protestantism is basically an offshoot of Southern Baptist movements. A lot of these Protestant denominations are heavily influenced by an absurd bullshit interpretation of the Scriptures, known as "Dispensationalism", which of all ironies was made up by some Anglican moron. The initial purpose of "dispensationalist" thinking was an effort to compromise on the message of the Gospel to try to persuade Jews into converting to Christianity... Needless to say, it didn't work at all, and instead Jews co-opted the message, the Rockefellers financially backed the message and flooded the Baptist and [later] Evangelical spheres with this delusion.
"Dispensationalists" have a very weird view on Salvation and Eschatology, that is completely out of accord with what the Early Church Fathers taught about these matters. "Dispensationalists" basically teach that the Jews still worship the True God, /despite/ Christ's explicit teaching that anyone that rejects Him also rejects God the Father [and therefore will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.] They also believe that the Book of Revelation's talk on a 1000 year kingdom is of a literal earthly kingdom, whereas the developed consensus in the Early Church was that the number was a symbolic representation of the reign of the Church over the whole world.
They think that the Great Tribulation in the Last Days is a trial of suffering and purification for the Jews, as they believe that the Christians will be pre-emptively Raptured before the Beast system is implemented. [The "Pre-Tribulation Rapture" view.]
The overwhelming majority of Evangelical Protestants are, in fact, very naiive, and this sort of nonsense is even believed in academic Evangelical circles. However, concerning the majority of Televangelist Evangelicals, whom preach "Prosperity Gospel", many of 'em don't really believe in what they teach, and see it more as a tool to con gullible people out of money to enrich themselves and spread their own influence.
And that's not even getting into the entangled mess of Evangelicalism being tied in with CIA doctrinal warfare programs and espionage interests. [On that note, the Papacy is also intimately intertwined with CIA doctrinal warfare and espionage programs as well.]
From what I've heard of Brazil, their politics is basically little more than an exaggerated caricaturization of U.S. political ideas, on steroids. It's what happens when you combine North American geopolitical ideology with Latin American machismo and strong-arm enforcement policies. -

More than that, they even go so far as to pull false-flag shit, setting up fake accounts to give themselves fake hate-mail and fake death threats, so that they can pretend to be the victims. Then they use this fake victimhood status to lobby for gaining special protections from government and corpos, and to engrain their networks in various PR/HR type structures. Then once they've built a powerbase, they use it to continue to lash out at others with zero accountability.
It's so obnoxious seeing this cycle repeat over and over and over again. -
