@wgiwf @ChristiJunior @Rasterman @Suzu @EdBoatConnoisseur @branman65 @nnnietsche @smokescreen Given that Evangelical Protestantism basically pretends that Church History immediately after the Scriptures, up until the time of Martin Luther, doesn't even exist, that's not a surprise.

If people actually took the time to read early Church Fathers like St. Athanasius and St. Basil the Great, a lot of confusion over theology on the Holy Trinity would be cleared up.

It's just really sad how much of Protestantism, especially today, is literally nothing more than rehashing a bunch of ancient heresies that had already been refuted and condemned by the Church long, long ago.

  Scratch the surface of "LGBTQ+ affirming progressive Christianity" and it's just Gnosticism.
