@wan@SuperSnekFriend That feel when someone shrouds Gensokyo in red mist so the first thing you do is assault three completely innocent bystanders who just happen to be along the way.
@Senator_Armstrong@Zerglingman@Edge@Kirino@Kyonko802 I think this whole thing has been funny to listen to because the trap card I showed off is not a creature, not doing damage (it's setting health to zero), and destroying it doesn't stop it's effect from resolving anyways. It's also not a Magic card but thats obviously neither here nor there.
@Zerglingman It's also funny because it's one of the handful of "kill protagonists" conditions, so games that have them tend to have lots of instances of them dying to figure out which one is the bad one.
@Zerglingman Lover/Loved one is one of the subplots and it's always funny when it shows up. I think one time we played it was the Office Worker and the Pop Idol that were together.
@Zerglingman@marine@anonymous@alex@DrScarGazer This discussion is making me think of the handful of Discord bot RPGs I've interacted with. I think my favorite one was an FGO themed one where you trained characters from various franchises and have them beat each other up. Had a weird artstyle for the character sprites to make them kind of matchup.
@EdBoatConnoisseur@GabeLakmann@NotImportant@WashedOutGundamPilot I've seen this video before, the part that definitively always gets me is that moment after the gun explosively backblows where he just sits there for a second, then pats himself over once or twice before checking up on the carnage.
@ChristiJunior@mischievoustomato@coolboymew Counterpoint, it's something players will see all game and something they'll be watching anytime nothing interesting is happening on screen. Of course you'd want to devote all your resources there. Maybe it's a bit over the top, but Yoko Taro needs those zip files full of 2B ass tomorrow and thats how he gets it.
