@WashedOutGundamPilot that's all very maximal for my minimal needs, but can dig it. Usually the top row of keys on a key board are my number and symbol pad. On such a system I'd be diagnosing equipment or scratching quick code. Pair with an pre-generated LLM and I got a field machine that will literally glow so hard no woman will approach me at the coffee shop.

No mouse of course because why would a cyberdeck user ever have need for it?

@WashedOutGundamPilot @SuperSnekFriend @Elliptica @skylar that's because you need to partition your thumb drive out and specifically use what is called persistent & portable boot.

One could even encrypt it so when the drive is booted it first asks for a password before proceeding with the liveOS.

I'm not at home, but I can drop some more insights on this because I also did something similar to have an emergency drive on my keychain that will let me grab any PC and just get into my shit.

What are the truths?
Where are the proofs?
An Electron Scanning Microscope picture of an actual virus/exosomes structure?
Why demonize specific types of medicine found to be effective then completely push for a treatment that is actually harmful?

I think from this century and the previous the lesson here is it is imperative we segregate political ideologues from academia. That we detach from research as much as possible and approach the scientific practice with complete humility over arrogant achievement seeking.
