@Shadowman311 @Leaflord @MeBigbrain Absolutely.
Chi-coms are going ape over Japan releasing the Fukushima waste water. They are mad, but it's also meant as propaganda against the West and an excuse to ban fish imports. Won't stop them from eating fish caught by chinamen in the same waters though.
Chinese FOB's in America still watch the CCP propaganda and are buying up all the pink salt at Costco, because they think it will protect them from radiation in fish they eat. lol (It's hilarious, but not a joke.)

@justnormalkorean @caekislove @Ghislaine @monsterislandcolonizer @poastoak @professionalbigot69 My father always said, "If you can read, you can cook." and "The cook eats what he wants." Everyone else has to acquiesce to the cook's preferences.
For anyone inexperienced at cooking, watch some videos on how to do the basic things of cooking and any techniques that are unfamiliar, and then go to rural antique shops and search through old cookbooks for recipes that sound good. Those books are often dirt cheap but retain old-time recipes that you'll not find again.
Once you know what the recipe terms mean, you'll be able to make almost anything. You'll screw things up and make mistakes, which just means you are learning something that takes skill and is worth learning. Give it time and you'll improve.

@Owl @justnormalkorean @graf @InceptionState I'm sick of my tax dollars subsidizing the cars of rich California commies.
-
@justnormalkorean @graf @Owl @InceptionState Sadly true.
The point is his skin might be white, but he's the biggest welfare nigger walking the planet.
-
@justnormalkorean @graf @Owl @InceptionState When they rolled out their Tesla IPO, they repeated that BS story about Tesla only having a few months left of salary at one point, and Musk put in his last dollars because he believed in the dream. Obvious crap.
Like you said, they figured out how to game the corporate welfare handouts. If those EV subsidies were pulled tomorrow, Tesla would collapse and Musk would be in the poor house..
-
@justnormalkorean @graf @Owl @InceptionState @HarryNuggets Musk has mishandled tons of stuff recently in his efforts to create a WeChat clone. The entire handling of Twitter has been baffling. Pay $40+ billion for one of the best known names in tech just to kill the name and branding.
Not much annoys me, but when people compare that guy to Howard Hughes as a genius, my mind explodes in disbelief.

@YeetLibs Christ is Lord!
God of our Fathers.
-
@flux_the_cat @Paultron That makes more sense.
She wasted no time adopting the South Korean tradition of having so much cosmetic surgery as to be unrecognizable.
-
@Paultron @flux_the_cat and how padded is that bra?
-
@flux_the_cat @Paultron Apparently an appointment with the cosmetic surgeon is every girl's gift on her 18th birthday.
-
@Bead @flux_the_cat @Paultron Holy sh!t!
Is that from Korean plastic surgeries or Security Prison 21 from the Khmer Rouge?

@Subject24 @Shadowman311 "My half-breed colored grandbaby only stabbed 2 kids with pencils in kindergarten and barely ever trial-clicks his revolver at me. He's an angel! Libtards probably think he's gonna grow up to be a criminal just cuz he's black. How racist!"
-
@Shadowman311 She's correct, at least about blacks not being good enough to compete.
What's soul-grating is all the boomer-cons in the replies saying, "Nuh-uh! Black people smart too. See, Dems are the real racists!"

@WashedOutGundamPilot @synapsid @Paleloon @matty @LordMordred @mmmfeet What happened there?
I missed that story.
-
@synapsid @Paleloon @matty @LordMordred @WashedOutGundamPilot @mmmfeet The funniest thing with those Section 8 gangbangers is the ones who load their own ammo. Those guys either overload it and damage their guns, or underload ammo to such an extent that the bullets can actually bounce off cotton t-shirts, since they have so little force.
I wouldn't test it out personally, but it is known to happen.
-
@matty @synapsid It's wild how little you can get offered for some highly skilled jobs, but then some lower-skilled jobs can offer way more. Depending on the region, some jobs pay really well simply because no one wants to do it, but other regions pay little for the same work.
-
@mmmfeet @matty @synapsid Synasid was offered $19 an hour for a high skilled labor position. You can work at Buc-ee's for almost the same rate and spend most of your time on your phone there. That's my point. You don't get high quality skill if you don't reward it.
I thought I saw offers well into the 6 figures for people to manage Buc-ee's stores in some places. Being good at running retail takes skill too, but I've never seen those salaries for managing a retail store before. The difference in what you expect salaries to be versus reality are crazy.

@Shadowman311 This whole Russian civil war insanity is a statement on the degradation of the Russian military, since it no longer depends on its national ethnic men alone as its backbone. Much like Rome in later years, Russia has outsourced large swaths of its military to mercenaries and non-native conscripts (see: Wagner recruiting prisoners in exchange for pardons and the Chechen militias). And much like in ancient Rome, this has proven disastrous. You cannot rely on those men to serve faithfully. You are begging for bribes, uprisings, and overthrows, which is what Rome got and now Russia is getting.
-
@Shadowman311 @AnimeTradCath @ArdainianRight @PraxisOfEvil @DrBtc @sickburnbro I'm not saying CIA didn't try to impact things behind the scenes, but there has to be some organic, pre-existing discontent with Putin among leadership in Russia for it to get this far. Russia also has a long history of coups, so it's in their nature. Russians are generally displeased with how the Ukrainian war is being waged, and Putin has been around for a long time. Other guys want that power and will take the chance to seize it. Even if Prigozhin has success removing Putin, I doubt he is the one who actually takes power.
This is destabilizing the country with the most nukes on earth, which is concerning.
