Just right now, the link scrolled in at the bottom (I'm reading new to old), so I expect the posts to load below, but they loaded above. Now I have to scroll backwards to find where I was, manually.

Something isn't working.

OK, so it depends on the direction of travel of the link onto the screen.

I had kind if gathered that there was some logic to it, but I have a hard time making it work consistently.

Sometimes, if you've scrolled past the link and return, it goes the other way, because you scrolled backwards a bit.

The current mastodon android app, when you press "Load missing posts" sometimes load them below and sometimes above.

It is very annoying and forces you to scroll around when it does the opposite of what you want.

Does anybody know when it does what? To me it seems random.

I had crates of floppy disks from various versions of SLS in '92 and '93. Each version was around thirty 3.5" disks.

CD-roms were so nice afterwards.

I've used Linux almost exclusively since 1992.

I wouldn't mind changing if something better came around.

Habit shouldn't be an impediment to progress.

I agree with Aral, and will do so here in Italy, but please don't vote for Daly or Wallace, who claim to be left, but happily support oppressive regimes in China and Russia.

@Gargron I thought I'd get it stuck in my head too, but YouTube reckoned I'd like to watch several minutes of ads first. I didn't.
