   G’morning, all! And a special shout out to the folks here in Ireland: please go out and vote today in the local and EU elections. As lefty as you can. They’re all imperfect systems but at least we have proportional representation here and that’s way better than what most folks have. And we must fight the rise of fascism here and in the EU. This is one – of many – ways we do that. So please, go out and vote.

     @aral we voted yesterday in .nl and it seems the Greens/Labour combination beat the far right party by one seat, mostly because we showed up and they didn’t. We CAN change things!

     I agree with Aral, and will do so here in Italy, but please don't vote for Daly or Wallace, who claim to be left, but happily support oppressive regimes in China and Russia.

     @aral ...I was lucky enough to travel to Ireland - from Dublin to Balina to Galway and everything in between years ago! The best trip I've ever done! Hope to be able to visit again someday! 🍀

     (Residents can vote in local elections and EU citizens can vote in the European elections so I got to do to both today.)
