@All_bonesJones @caekislove @AmericanChampion @Hoss @coolboymew I do miss the time when voice acting in games was just the devs, their friends, family, and people off the street

@Vidmastereon @caekislove @AmericanChampion @Hoss @All_bonesJones @coolboymew I thought it was so cool when I found out that Deus Ex and demoscene musician Alexander Brandon did sergeant Kaplan's voice. I had NO standards for voice acting. :pepe_fact:
Anyway, I agree.

@Rasterman @Vidmastereon @caekislove @AmericanChampion @Hoss @All_bonesJones @coolboymew Some men that made me have standards for voice acting were Michael Dorn as both Frank Horrigan and Marcus, alongside the late great Tony Jay as the Lieutenant, and Keith Szarabajka as Joshua Graham.

@LordMordred @caekislove @AmericanChampion @Hoss @All_bonesJones @coolboymew @Vidmastereon Ah, only real Fallout games. Nice.
I don't recall ever knowing that Horrigan and Marcus had the same voice actor. :thinking:
Last time I tried to play New Vegas, I followed fedi advice in installing some mods and trying to start the Honest Hearts DLC crashed the game. Last time I was able to hear Joshua Graham in-game was around 2013. :pepe_eyeballs:
Tony Jay also voices the main villain of Planescape: Torment. For a game that's pure text, he doesn't have a ton of voice-acted lines, though. :pepesad:
Also was surprised to learn the voice for The Master was the same guy that voiced Winnie the Pooh. :pooh:

Eli Vance was voiced by Robert Guillaume, and the work for that role was about five years after a minor stroke.
The random guy from the street was the dude with the valve on his head. Both of them, in fact.

I've never heard that before. Good for him, dude did a bang up job. Hope he was able to get more work afterwards and turn his life around.

@Rasterman @caekislove @AmericanChampion @Hoss @All_bonesJones @coolboymew If I recall Bob page's VA is either one of Warren Specter's family or friends and he did a bang up job playing a megalomaniacal billionaire with a god complex
