  I don't know how either of those are the greatest when there's better.
  
  I'd argue pdf was a downgrade from ps, and later djvu obilterated both.
  psd, being a malware format puts it in the bottom of the barrel. even xcf is infinitely better. Luckily ora exists which is better.
