   I never realized that millennials are already getting in on being "the last ones with a good childhood". My pet zoomerette keeps listening to some playlist of "pop punk anthems" and all the comments are talking up how amazing life was being a teenager in the 00's, like those music videos were what parties are like.

   In her head, everything was better, a world apart, but the way I remember it kids still were on their phones all the time and hardly anyone knew how to dance at prom. We spent a lot of time wandering around and loitering, we never hooked up with the hot chicks we wanted, and we drove around in shitbox econo cars handed down from our moms.

   If you ask her, we all drove suped-up imports like fast and furious, everybody lived in the moment, and nobody had any reason to be bummed out. Funny

     It's just funny how in her head she imagines that everything just flipped a switch and turned into hellword globohomo the very second she turned old enough to enjoy it.

     Like we're all hanging out and partying until her 14th bday and say "okay boys roll it up, we can't let the zoomers enjoy their youth"

     She was shy, she never reached out to form bonds and get out of her house and play with people. She let life pass her by, like so many in her generation did. I feel like there's a lesson there for me, too.

     I guess it's a reminder for me to do more with her to make her feel like she's living. It's hard giving a homebody girl the kind of life that other girls can be jealous of. When she's in her go-getter high she's game to plan out a spontaneous vacation, but then she's low-energy when it's time to wake up and head out. Comfort versus effort.

     But maybe I gotta kick up the courtship a bit so she doesn't feel like she's missing out when she looks back on this time.

     Peoples perception of reality is completely controlled by the media they consume. Memory itself simply can't compete with studio-crafted narratives.
     
     Growing up in this hellscape sucked ass and I won't pretend otherwise.

     @WandererUber Yeah she's big on that. We did stupid teen shit like "play backyard shows" with our crappy garage bands, and in her head that's the same rager you'd see on MTV instead of a bunch of suburban kids playing pretend.

     @dogslurp I think a lot is informed by her older sister telling tall tales about how cool it was. She believes the hype without thinking about what it was REALLY like, which is usually low energy and cringe

     @RehnSturm256 She kind of knows I manipulate her, she likes it. That's why we got together in the beginning, on date 2 she told me "you make me so comfortable, nobody ever like, GETS me like you do". These days she'll ask me about how/why so she can include it in her writing, because she can't figure out how to write a male character. Lets us step outside the framing and be more honest.

     If we break up she'll have so much ammo to burn me though, a whole long history of "gaslighting, manipulation, control" should she choose to exercise it. Hopefully I've covered myself well enough - I haven't had a truly hostile breakup yet, hopefully I can duck this one too

     @poastoak It is funny though, in between our ages I guess they got rid of ballroom dance. I took the hell out of that, class ruled, nothing but women fighting over you as long as you're the one passably attractive guy (of 3 in the class)

     @WashedOutGundamPilot Every generation is objectively worse than the last ever since jews won WWII. The only difference is that now that all entertainment media is unwatchable, zoomers and alphas stay glued to short length videos that excel at showcasing clip montages. Like life in the 00's and 90's, which is conveniently when homemade videos went mainstream. So there's a lot of content for them to dig through, and get demoralized by previous generations' standard of living.
     
     I can't imagine how shitty it must be for young White kids that just want to experience a decent story, or just live in comfort and safety away from whooping niggers.

     @Ripsnort Yeah, it's funny that they feel like they were forced into the NEET basement dweller life as women. She's super cutehot, there's no way in hell she couldn't have just went out and had a thriving teen life, but she was too scared of boys to just live. She's petite, has a soft dad, so in her caution she ended up only ever hanging with a small circle of women. I see a lot of girls like that now, they whine about never being asked out but they're never even anywhere boys CAN ask them out. They sprint back to their car after class and refuse all invites.

     Now that she's grown out of that fear, she acts as if there was no in-person world for the zoomers to enjoy to begin with. They all keep falling down these very niche, tiny internet communities and completely replacing their IRL networks with them - but they don't realize that it's just as much their own fault as any one else's.

     @WashedOutGundamPilot You almost can't blame her though. Yeah the demoralizing propaganda and jew controlled media don't help, but it really is getting crazy out there. Whether she's aware of it or not there's probably a primal instinct of assessing the risks of going outside, where growing demographics of ethnics (getting murdered) and alphabet people (getting raped) are exponentially increasing, as opposed to staying inside where distractions (internet) and food (uber eats) can simply come to you.
     
     It would take a very strong willed and extroverted father figure to bring a child in this environment out of this mindset. But unless they don't want their child to meet a horrible fate, they would also have to be racially conscious and strict with discipline. Obviously this type of man is very rare nowadays, especially those who actually have children.

     @Ripsnort Yeah, it's not without reason, and she's a woman, so she lacks agency.

     It's a dynamic I want the boys to understand, because it's so much stronger in each successive generation. I think alphas are going to be 40% NEET shut-ins, the girls are soaking in true crime docs and only being exposed to "flirting" on dating apps. They don't know it's possible to just have a chaste, fun date with a guy who won't push them out of their comfort zone off the bat, because those guys are too gun-shy to even ask a girl out at all anymore

     @WashedOutGundamPilot I hate to sound like a gabnigger hyper focusing on da jooz but that's what this really boils down to I think, the zeitgeist of an entire generation being carefully conditioned by schizophrenic ethnic supremacists working in lockstep.
     
     My last gf was also young enough to be considered a zoomer, and I remember how difficult it was for me to raise her self esteem as a white girl and convince her the world isn't a cold dark place. I guess she saw through me being a jaded shut in piece of shit myself.
